PARADISE GETTING READY FOR ANOTHER EXCITING FESTIVAL!
The Annual Paradise Main Street Festival is gearing up for another fun-filled day on Saturday, September 30, 2017. One of the featured exhibits this year is the “Rendezvous” Re-Enactor Team of Bob and Jennifer Jackson. They offer a hands-on experience for young and old alike with authentic period-dress, tent, and artifacts. They will demonstrate fire-making techniques, hide-tanning (the old-fashioned way!), flint-lock firearms and much, much more! You won’t want to miss this!
As usual, our vendors will be set up with lots of goodies and info to share; the vintage car show, Blue Ribbon Pie and Preserve Contest, quilt show, Washer Tournament, live auction, raffles, tractor exhibits, and live entertainment all day! Mark your calendar now!
The Paradise Main Street Festival is an annual event sponsored by the Paradise Historical Society and local businesses and citizens. The event is free to the public. Donations of cash and auction items help to offer the event for local enjoyment and maintain the Paradise Veterans Park and the Paradise Museum (grand opening soon).
